About

Who I am

Silouane “Silou” Galinou — agentic engineer in Paris. The path in five stops, then the human parts.

  • Engineering school

    EFREI, Paris

Engineering degree. Bilingual French / English.

  • 8 years

Junior dev → senior engineer & tech lead

The whole climb at a major enterprise e-learning platform. TypeScript-heavy, functional, domain-driven codebases; ending up leading on architecture.

  • 2023

    Down the AI rabbit hole

First-principles study on nights and weekends — neural networks, LLM internals, diffusion models — before any agent tooling.

  • Feb 2025

    The harness

All-in on Claude Code from day one — eighteen months turning it into a production agentic system (agents, skills, hooks, model-offloading, observability), proven on a scaled agentic AI pipeline in production.

  • Now

    Advisory, coaching & training

Helping teams use what they already pay for — live, honestly, on their own setup.

Beyond the keyboard

On one wheel

I get around Paris — and off it — on an electric unicycle: trail riding on weekends, commuting the rest of the time.

On the wall

Climbing. A route is a problem with a sequence, and there's no way to fake the execution.

The reading range

How the brain learns and how the body works; physics, simulation theory, space exploration — the infinitely small to the infinitely big. And anything touching AI: neural networks, LLM internals, diffusion.

Learning as a system

A personal knowledge OS — Zettelkasten notes plus spaced repetition — used daily. Learning, teaching, and staying curious as a practice, not a phase.
